Senior Software Engineer - Boutique Fixed Income Hedge Fund - London

My client, a leading fixed income hedge fund, is seeking an experienced Python Developer to join their Business Engineering team in London.

Working within a high-impact technology group, you will play a key role in building and enhancing applications that support one of the firm’s most strategically important investment businesses. The role sits at the intersection of technology and front-office operations, with a focus on automation, analytics, workflow optimisation, and the modernisation of legacy infrastructure.

You will be responsible for developing scalable Python applications, improving data-driven tooling, and supporting the migration of critical systems into a modernised technology stack. The ideal candidate will possess strong Python development skills and Terraform skills, alongside excellent communication abilities and a highly collaborative mindset. Exposure to financial systems, automation tooling, or analytics platforms would be highly advantageous, while experience with fixed income products, mortgages, or structured assets is desirable.
