About Credico UK

Credico UK is one of the UK's leading sales and customer acquisition organisations, supporting a diverse portfolio of clients across telecommunications, energy, charities, financial services, and retail sectors.

As part of an ambitious business-wide transformation programme, we're investing heavily in data, automation, reporting, and business intelligence. We believe better insight leads to better decisions, and we're building a reporting suite that will become central to how our departments operate, measure performance, and drive growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at the start of that journey and play a key role in shaping our reporting capability from the ground up.

The Role

We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Power BI Developer to join our IT & Change function on a 6-month temp contract with the possibility of this becoming a permanent role.

You'll work alongside stakeholders across multiple departments to design, build, and support a suite of Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful insights into business performance.

This role would suit someone who can hit the ground running with existing Power BI knowledge but is equally excited by learning new skills, technologies, and approaches. You'll be supported internal expertise, external learning resources, and hands-on project experience to accelerate your development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports across multiple business functions
  • Work directly with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into meaningful visualisations
  • Develop and maintain data models, measures, calculations, and KPI frameworks
  • Support the creation of a consistent business reporting suite and reporting standards
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement using Power BI and Microsoft technologies
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and support users with data-related queries
  • Work with multiple data sources including Excel, SQL databases, APIs, and business systems
  • Ensure reporting remains accurate, reliable, and aligned with business objectives
  • Contribute to wider data and reporting projects as the organisation continues its BI transformation journey

Who We're Looking For

We're hiring for attitude, potential, and problem-solving ability as much as technical experience.

You may currently be:

  • A Junior BI Developer looking for your next challenge
  • A Data Analyst with Power BI experience wanting to specialise further
  • A Graduate with strong Power BI skills and a portfolio of projects
  • An Operational or Reporting Analyst looking to move into a dedicated BI development role
  • A self-taught Power BI enthusiast who can demonstrate practical experience and a desire to learn

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI
  • Good understanding of data modelling, relationships, and report design
  • Knowledge of DAX calculations and measures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Confident working with Excel and data manipulation techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work

What You'll Get

  • £30,000 - £35,000 salary depending on experience
  • 6-month temp-to-perm opportunity
  • Hybrid working with remote flexibility
  • Opportunity to work on high-profile business transformation projects
  • Access to modern Microsoft technologies
  • Structured learning and development support
  • Career progression opportunities within a growing data and reporting function
  • Company pension scheme
  • Generous holiday entitlement
  • Wellness and wellbeing support programmes

Why Join Us?

This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain existing reports.

You'll be helping build Credico UK's reporting capability from the ground up, working on projects that have visibility across the entire business. You'll have the freedom to contribute ideas, develop new skills, and play a significant role in how data and insight shape business decisions moving forward.

If you're passionate about Power BI, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of an exciting transformation journey, we'd love to hear from you.

To apply, please submit your CV along with a short summary outlining your Power BI experience and why you're interested in the role.
