Job Title: Lead Azure Data Engineer - Data Migrations (SC Cleared)
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Remote, UK Based

Clearance Required: Must be holding active Security Clearance

Role Overview

This role sits at the centre of a major Azure data migration programme. The Lead Azure Data Engineer will take full technical ownership of the data platform, leading migration delivery while shaping scalable, future-proof Azure data architecture.

The position requires a senior, hands-on engineer who can lead by example, make architectural decisions, and engage confidently with stakeholders across technology and the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on Azure Data Factory development and migration experience
• Proven team leadership and technical ownership
• Experience designing scalable Azure data architectures (Synapse, Data Lake, SQL, Databricks)
• Excellent stakeholder and delivery leadership skills

Desirable Experience

• Microsoft Dynamics and or Power Platform exposure
