Day rate: Up to £400 a day (Inside IR35)
Clearance: SC Clearance required

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer. The programme focuses on migrating data from legacy platforms into modern, cloud-based data environments, with an emphasis on automation, scalability and secure delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and support data pipelines as part of a cloud migration initiative
- Build and maintain data processing and transformation workflows using Databricks
- Support the migration of data from legacy systems into cloud-based platforms
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support data engineering workloads
- Use Terraform to define and manage cloud infrastructure in a consistent, repeatable manner
- Work closely with architects, project managers and delivery teams to meet programme objectives
- Contribute to the modernisation of ageing enterprise data platforms
- Ensure delivery aligns with governance, security and compliance frameworks
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience as a Data Engineer on complex data platforms
- Strong hands-on Databricks experience in production environments
- Demonstrable experience delivering data migration or cloud transformation projects
- Experience configuring and managing Azure DevOps pipelines for data or cloud platforms
- Working knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
- Ability to integrate quickly into established teams and deliver at pace
- Active SC clearance or clear eligibility to obtain SC clearance
Nice to Have
- Experience working on public sector or regulated programmes
- Familiarity with secure, compliance-driven delivery environments
- Exposure to large-scale, long-term transformation initiatives
