We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer. The role focuses on building scalable Back End services and modern Front End applications within an AWS-based microservices architecture.
This is a hands-on contract position requiring strong experience across Java/Spring Boot on the Back End, React/Next.js on the Front End, and AWS cloud services, operating within a modern containerised and CI/CD-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable Back End services using Java and Spring Boot
- Build Front End applications using React and Next.js
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
- Contribute to microservices and distributed systems architecture
- Deploy and manage applications within AWS cloud environments
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised deployments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product and DevOps
- Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
- Support greenfield development from design through production release
Required Skills and Experience
- Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience building Front End applications using React (Next.js preferred)
- Proven AWS cloud experience
- Strong understanding of API development and microservices architecture
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working within distributed, remote engineering teams
Desirable
- Experience in greenfield product development
- Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience
- Strong understanding of cloud-native design principles
