We are supporting a confidential organisation looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a key role in building, automating, and supporting modern cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery
• Automate and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and IaC tools
• Deploy, scale and support AWS-based cloud platforms
• Drive observability through monitoring, alerting and performance tuning
• Support and enhance highly available, production-critical systems
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis and implement fixes
• Partner with engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable microservices
• Manage and secure Kubernetes and containerised environments
• Champion automation, reliability and DevOps best practices

Essential Skills

• Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting
• Proven AWS cloud experience
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker
• Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• CI/CD pipeline design and automation
• Prometheus, Grafana and platform monitoring
• Git-based workflows and version control best practices
• Microservices and distributed systems architecture
• Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies
• Database experience (MongoDB, MySQL or other RDBMS)
• Security-first mindset with PKI and secure deployment practices
• Experience supporting high-availability, mission-critical platforms
