Job Title: Senior Azure Developer

Day rate: Up to £480 a day Inside IR35

Location: Remote, UK Based

Contract Type: 12 Month Contract (with scope to extend)

Clearance: Must be holding active Security Clearance

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Developer. The role works closely with a Lead Developer and wider technical team, with a strong focus on implementation, testing, and operational support of Azure-based integration solutions within a public sector IT environment.

This position requires a hands-on developer who is comfortable operating across delivery and support, with strong experience in Microsoft technologies and cloud integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and configuration of the NRM Referral Interface
  • Design, implement, and test integration components using Power Automate and Azure Service Bus
  • Support the setup and maintenance of development and production environments
  • Participate in technical assessments, troubleshooting, and incident response activities
  • Provide L2/L3 application support as part of the SAS team
  • Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous process improvement

Required Skills and Experience

  • Azure and Microsoft Technologies
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Practical experience building workflows using Power Automate
  • Hands-on knowledge of Azure Service Bus and message queue based integrations
  • Understanding of integration patterns and secure data transfer mechanisms

Development and Scripting

  • Proficiency in C#, PowerShell, or similar scripting and development languages
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services and automation tools

Support and Operations

  • Background providing L2/L3 application support
  • Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to work within defined SLAs and structured support processes

Collaboration and Communication

  • Strong team player with experience working closely with lead developers and technical stakeholders
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to produce and maintain technical documentation

Additional Experience

  • Understanding of public sector IT environments and governance is highly desirable
