Skills and CompetenciesStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial, operational and data-related information and translate findings into practical solutionsInterest in structured finance, securitisation, asset-backed securities, residential mortgage-backed securities and technology-enabled client solutionsAbility to read, interpret and document detailed business requirements, legal terms and payment priority structuresStrong spreadsheet and quantitative skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication skills with the ability to explain modelling, reporting and data-related outcomes to clients and internal stakeholdersExposure to SQL, reporting tools, databases, financial modelling, Python or VBA is preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively and contribute to client implementation and support projectsBasic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
EducationUndergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative disciplineExposure to banking, credit, financial services, data analysis or a related field through internships, academic projects, graduate placements or professional experience is preferredResponsibilitiesSupport the delivery and implementation of structured finance solutions through financial modelling, analytics, client support and product configuration activities.
Conduct research to understand securitisation structures, asset classes, client requirements and market developmentsConvert payment priorities and legal documentation terms into financial models using structured finance software applicationsSupport the implementation, configuration and customisation of structured finance platforms and related client solutionsAssist clients by responding to product, modelling, reporting and business-related enquiriesBuild, maintain and enhance reports using reporting tools, spreadsheets and data analysis solutionsDevelop business requirements, execute data queries, perform testing activities and validate solutions against client requirementsDiscuss, explain and reconcile modelling, reporting and data outputs with clients and internal stakeholdersUse approved AI-enabled tools responsibly to support research, documentation, testing support, knowledge sharing and process improvement initiativesAbout the TeamThe Structured Finance Advisory Services team sits at the intersection of structured finance, technology and client advisory services. The team partners with leading financial institutions globally to implement, configure and enhance securitisation solutions that address complex business, operational and regulatory challenges.
