Your New Role As a Digital Learning Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing high-quality blended and online learning experiences. Working closely with professional services and academic teams, you will provide expert support and guidance on digital learning technologies and pedagogical best practice.Key responsibilities will include:Improving the use and effectiveness of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and related technologies to enhance the learner experienceSupporting programme teams in creating engaging and effective online and blended learning solutionsDelivering training sessions, workshops, and guidance to strengthen staff capability and confidence in digital learning toolsProviding specialist advice on learning design, assessment methods, and technology integrationSupporting the implementation and adoption of a new learning platform to ensure a smooth transitionChampioning innovation and best practice in digital education, while ensuring adherence to accessibility, copyright, and data protection requirementsThis varied role offers the opportunity to contribute to both immediate initiatives and long-term digital transformation projects.

What You'll Need to Succeed To thrive in this position, you'll combine technical expertise with educational understanding and excellent stakeholder engagement skills.You will have:Degree-level education (or equivalent experience), alongside a commitment to ongoing professional developmentDemonstrable experience supporting digital technologies within an educational setting, including online and blended learning environmentsHands-on experience with learning technologies, digital assessment tools, and delivering training or workshopsA strong understanding of learning design principles and educational technologiesThe ability to explain technical concepts clearly and confidently to non-technical audiencesStrong organisational, problem-solving, and relationship management skillsDesirable experience includes relevant professional qualifications (such as CMALT), knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles, and experience contributing to large-scale or cross-functional projects.Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
