Job Title: Head of AI Location: London, UK (3 days per week in the office)Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 Benefits: Pension, private medical insurance, travel insurance, 24 days annual leave (plus public holidays)Duration: 2-year fixed term (with potential to extend)Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)Reporting to: Executive Director Eligibility: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK or be eligible for sponsorship
The RoleMorgan Hunt are working exclusively with an international chairty who are seeking a Head of AI to drive the organisation's next phase of digital transformation, embedding AI as a practical and responsible enabler of strategic objectives.This is a hands-on leadership role, combining strategy and delivery. You'll assess current operations, identify high-impact AI opportunities, and define a clear roadmap aligned to organisational priorities.Working closely with senior leadership, you'll lead the design, build, and deployment of scalable AI solutions - ensuring effective adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver a clear AI strategy and roadmap with defined outcomes
- Identify and prioritise opportunities to improve efficiency, services, and knowledge management
- Design and implement scalable AI architecture integrated with existing systems
- Lead prototyping, testing, and deployment of AI solutions
- Drive organisational adoption through training and capability building
- Provide strategic insight and reporting to senior stakeholders
- Proven experience delivering AI and/or data platforms at scale
- Experience in a senior technical or leadership role (3+ years)
- Strong understanding of modern AI approaches, including LLMs, RAG, and orchestration
- Knowledge of cloud environments, security, and compliance considerations
