Infrastructure Systems Engineer

My client based in North London are looking for an IT Infrastructure Systems Engineer for an exciting new opportunity paying up to £40,000 (DOE). You will be required to work fully 5 days on site, with the occasional remote working day.This will be split across 3 sites in North LondonYou will be working for a thriving organisation of which you will be a part of a key team, looking to enhance the support team within the Technology and Development department.As part of the IT Systems Team, you will ensure the configuration and operational readiness of systems, including provision, maintenance and development of the companies services and network infrastructure. The role will involve the day-to-day activities that assist our staff and students with reported incidents. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the IT services within the organisation, including adherence to agreed SLAs. Under the direction of the IT Systems Manager, you will also take an active role in the development of specialist projects. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to support deployment of operating systems and application software and administration of cloud services and associated systems, including email, anti-virus, and backups.The successful candidate should possess expertise in cyber security and a minimum of five additional proficiencies in the following areas: server virtualisation (Hyper-V), Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 administration, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, Veeam backups, and Microsoft Intune/SCCM. Experience of ITIL service delivery, Cisco networking, Apple Mac operating systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams administration, G Suite administration would be desirable.If you are successful- you must be a current holder of an Enhanced DBS or be able to go through the processPlease apply to discuss further!
