£74,000 pro rata

Morgan Hunt are delighted to be supporting a public sector organisation in London as they look to welcome a Procurement Lead on a 6 month FTC basis. This will be to support the IT function as they look to re-tender. You will work closely with the Head of IT and Head of Finance.

Main Responsibilities:

· Lead the end-to-end procurement process for IT and digital contracts.

· Coordinate contract retender activity in line with public procurement regulations and organisational governance.

· Develop procurement documentation including specifications, evaluation criteria, and tender packs.

· Support supplier engagement and clarification activities.

· Manage evaluation processes and provide procurement advice to stakeholders.

· Ensure robust contract governance, compliance, and audit readiness.

· Work collaboratively with digital, finance, legal, and operational teams.

Personal Specification:

· Proven experience managing public sector procurements, particularly ICT or digital services contracts.

· Strong understanding of UK public procurement regulations and frameworks.

· Experience drafting tender documentation and evaluating bids.

· Excellent stakeholder engagement and project coordination skills.

· Ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously.

· MCIPS qualification or equivalent experience desirable.
