PCB / Cable Assembly Operator

Our client is a well-established electronics manufacturer supplying specialist products to global markets. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a PCB / Cable Assembly Operator to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electronics assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble PCB and cable assemblies to required standards
- Solder surface mount and through-hole components onto PCBs
- Operate SMT pick-and-place equipment to populate circuit boards
- Build cable assemblies using soldering and crimping techniques
- Follow work instructions, diagrams and assembly drawings accurately
- Maintain high levels of quality and attention to detail
- Apply approved soldering processes and assembly techniques
- Work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in PCB or cable assembly
- Soldering and crimping experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and diagrams
- Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-A-620 certification would be advantageous
