A global engineering-led organisation operating at scale within critical infrastructure is seeking to appoint a Global Sales Director to lead its international commercial activity within the data centre market.

This appointment represents a key strategic hire, with responsibility for shaping and executing global sales strategy for complex, highly engineered machinery and systems deployed in mission-critical data centre environments.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the Global Sales Director will hold full accountability for global revenue performance across Colocation, Neocloud and Hyperscale customers. The role combines strategic leadership with senior-level customer engagement and the development of a high-performing, international sales organisation.

Key Accountabilities

  • Define and execute the global commercial strategy for engineered solutions within the data centre sector
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an international sales leadership team across multiple geographies
  • Establish and sustain executive-level relationships with major data centre operators, developers, and Hyperscale customers
  • Drive structured, long-term engagement with global cloud and infrastructure providers
  • Partner closely with engineering, operations, and executive stakeholders to ensure commercial and technical alignment
  • Maintain ownership of forecasting, pipeline governance, pricing frameworks, and major contract negotiations
  • Act as a senior ambassador for the organisation within the global data centre ecosystem

Executive Profile

  • Demonstrable experience in a senior international sales leadership role within data centres, critical infrastructure, or complex engineered capital equipment environments
  • Proven success selling high-value, technically complex solutions in long-cycle sales models
  • Established credibility with Colocation providers, Neoclouds, and/or Hyperscalers
  • Track record of building and leading multinational sales teams
  • Commercially rigorous, strategically minded, and comfortable operating at board and C-suite level
  • Able to balance strategic planning with hands-on leadership in a global context

Location

The role may be based in France or the UK, with international travel as required.
