Interim Oracle Fusion Finance Lead

My Local Government client is looking to recruit an interim Finance Lead for their Oracle Fusion ERP implementation programme. Reporting into the DS151 and working as part of the dedicated project team the role involves managing finance processes, coordinating with technical teams, and facilitating stakeholder engagements.

Day to day you will also take ownership of Project Accounting within the wider ERP implementation, acting as the finance lead for this critical workstream. Working within the central finance function, you will partner with programme leadership, finance stakeholders, subject matter experts and business change teams to shape and deliver the future-state Project Accounting model.

You will provide specialist expertise across project accounting processes, including project ledgers, budgeting, forecasting, income recognition, reporting, controls and data requirements. The role will involve translating business requirements into practical finance process and system designs, supporting key design decisions, identifying risks and ensuring successful delivery throughout the programme lifecycle.

Candidates must be qualified accountants with substantial experience in finance service management and previous work on transformation projects involving Oracle Fusion.

The position offers a day rate of £500 to £650 per day with hybrid working arrangements and will be for circa 9 to 12 months.
