Finance System Implementation Project Manager (Contract)

An established UK organisation is seeking an experienced Finance System Implementation Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new cloud-based finance system, replacing a long-standing legacy platform.
You will manage the full implementation lifecycle through to go-live, working closely with Finance stakeholders and the system vendor.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the project plan, governance, risks, and budget
- Oversee data migration, cleansing, reconciliation, and sign-off
- Lead testing strategy, UAT, and defect management
- Produce project documentation and solution design materials
- Deliver training and support change management
- Manage cutover, go-live, and post-implementation review
About You
- Proven experience delivering finance system replacement projects
- Strong knowledge of core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, budgeting, fixed assets)
- Experienced in data migration and UAT coordination
- Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills
- Experience with mid-tier cloud finance systems
