Finance System Implementation Project Manager (Contract)

• 4-5 month contract

An established UK organisation is seeking an experienced Finance System Implementation Project Manager to lead the implementation of a new cloud-based finance system, replacing a long-standing legacy platform.

You will manage the full implementation lifecycle through to go-live, working closely with Finance stakeholders and the system vendor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the project plan, governance, risks, and budget
• Oversee data migration, cleansing, reconciliation, and sign-off
• Lead testing strategy, UAT, and defect management
• Produce project documentation and solution design materials
• Deliver training and support change management
• Manage cutover, go-live, and post-implementation review

About You

• Proven experience delivering finance system replacement projects
• Strong knowledge of core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, budgeting, fixed assets)
• Experienced in data migration and UAT coordination
• Confident stakeholder manager with strong communication skills
• Experience with mid-tier cloud finance systems
