Business Development Lead

Do you thrive on building powerful partnerships that drive real impact We're looking for a strategic, commercially-savvy consultant to spearhead our B2B growth across the public sector; someone who can turn opportunity into traction and ideas into action.

What You'll Do

You'll be at the heart of our expansion, shaping, selling, and scaling our partnerships strategy.Your mission: bring our platform to thousands of public-sector employees through innovative wholesale and B2B2C models.

  • Design and deliver a winning B2B sales strategy, from outreach to onboarding.

  • Target and engage decision-makers across:

    • Public sector employers (NHS Trusts, universities, education trusts, museums)

    • HR tech platforms and solution providers

    • Public sector unions and credit unions

    • Membership organisations and professional communities

  • Drive the full sales cycle: build the pipeline, pitch with purpose, close with confidence.

  • Advise on digital integrations (API and HR platform onboarding) to make partnerships seamless.

  • Collaborate across teams - from marketing to tech - ensuring every partner relationship turns into lasting value.

  • Report, analyse, and optimise: keep our growth engine firing with regular updates on pipeline and performance.

Who You Are

You're a natural connector, strategic yet hands-on, commercial yet collaborative. You know how to build trust, tell a story, and turn a "maybe" into a signed agreement.

  • Proven B2B sales experience in employee benefits, HR tech, or the public sector.

  • Strong understanding of affiliate (B2B2C) and wholesale distribution models.

  • An existing network in public sector HR or procurement is a huge advantage.

  • You've managed pipelines, negotiated deals, and onboarded partners successfully.

  • You can toggle effortlessly between big-picture strategy and roll-up-your-sleeves delivery.

We are ideally looking for someone 2/3 days per week, but this is flexible, the role can be worked remotely, location isn't a priority, but access to the South East would be beneficial.
