About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, commercially minded Commercial Data Analyst to join our growing team based in London. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership while enjoying the flexibility of a modern working environment.

Reporting to the VP Commercial, you will play a pivotal role in analysing, managing, and developing pricing programmes and policies that support sustainable growth, maximise profitability, and deliver value to our customers. Working closely with Sales, Legal, Product, Technology, and Executive teams, you will provide data-driven insights and commercial recommendations that influence key business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Support & Contract Performance

  • Own and lead monthly and quarterly pricing performance reviews.
  • Analyse the performance of existing pricing programmes across geographies, industries, solutions, and use cases.
  • Monitor and model both product-level and deal-level profitability.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Support commercial negotiations and contract performance evaluations.

Pricing Programmes

  • Conduct pricing benchmarking and market analysis to support pricing strategy.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to senior management on pricing approaches and commercial performance.
  • Create and maintain price books and associated commercial documentation.
  • Manage product catalogues and pricing schedules within CPQ systems.
  • Ensure consistency and governance across pricing frameworks.

Packaging & Commercial Integration

  • Recommend product bundling, packaging, and industry-specific pricing strategies.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to understand solution capabilities and identify associated commercial opportunities and risks.
  • Collaborate with Data and Technology teams to drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Support the evolution of commercial models and go-to-market strategies.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience in pricing, packaging, commercial analysis, or a related function within a SaaS or high-tech environment.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using a range of tools to extract and interpret actionable insights from data.
  • Experience formulating and testing hypotheses to support business decision-making.
  • Ability to present recommendations, risks, and opportunities clearly to executive management and business stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage both detailed analysis and strategic objectives.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
