Global Programme & Project Delivery Lead

Our client is seeking a strategic Programme & Project Delivery Lead to oversee large-scale, multi-national projects and programmes. This is a global role, responsible for driving the design, planning and delivery of complex initiatives across digital, online and technology projects. You will manage diverse, dispersed teams ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Programme and Project Delivery team across multiple geographies.
  • Define clear project delivery roadmaps, aligned to business objectives and ensure milestones are achieved efficiently.
  • Oversee programme design, resourcing and management to deliver high-quality outputs, on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to negotiate realistic project plans, targets and resource allocations.
  • Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance, reporting and evaluation processes to drive value and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to support programme goals.
  • Lead risk management strategies, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and organisational standards.
  • Provide expert guidance on business case development, programme refreshes and strategic improvement initiatives.
  • Capture lessons learned and translate insights into improvements in project management practices and organisational capability.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading multi-million-pound, multi-national projects and programmes.
  • Track record in managing large, dispersed teams and complex portfolios, delivering high-quality results.
  • Experienced with a variety of project methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong background in digital, online or technology programme delivery at a global scale.
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical and financial/resource management skills.
  • Ability to communicate and influence at senior levels across diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional programme management qualification (MSP, MPA, PMI, or equivalent).
  • Desirable but not essential: Experience delivering learning or assessment programmes globally, as well as multilingual skills.
