Operations Manager - Spanish speaking

As an Operations Manager, you own the end-to-end lifecycle of operational processes—from initial design and launch to global standardization and optimization. You will serve as the primary safeguard for Spanish News Partnerships, acting as the central nexus between the Compliance Cluster, internal teams, and vendors to ensure 100% adherence to the 14 mandated CNMC commitments.
Qualifications & Core Focus
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record in process improvement and optimization.
- Strategic Execution: Lead the daily execution of the Spain Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy, specifically addressing the 14 mandated CNMC commitments for the European Union Copyright Directive (EUCD).
- Regulatory Safeguard: Serve as the primary custodian for News Partnerships in the Spanish market, ensuring all end-to-end (ENP) workflows adhere strictly to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Operational Liaison: Act as the critical link between the Compliance Cluster and the Spanish News Partnerships team, managing high-stakes vendor processes to ensure seamless, compliant operations.
Candidate Fit & Target Roles
• Skills/Strengths: Operational management; high-volume process coordination; spreadsheet/data management (non-technical/SQL not needed); ability to identify and close process gaps; adaptability to new/rapid regulatory requirements
• Target Roles: Candidates with experience in business operations, programme management, large-scale vendor/partner management; can consider more experienced if within budget
• Must-Haves: Fluent Spanish; operations/process management experience; stakeholder/vendor management; ability to optimise/support SOPs; strong proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets); some experience with Salesforce; process improvement mindset; ability to communicate with Spanish partner managers
• Nice-to-Haves: Experience working with large partner/vendor ecosystems); previous use of Salesforce for workflow automation
