Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack - React & Java)

We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a well-known global digital platform, working on high-traffic products used by millions of customers worldwide. This role is ideal for a front-end-leaning full-stack engineer who enjoys building React Micro Frontends, while remaining confident working with Java and Spring services behind the scenes.

You'll be joining an established engineering team, contributing to an internal portal and customer-facing features, with a strong emphasis on clean architecture, testing and debugging.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building Micro Frontend applications using React
• Developing and supporting Java/Spring back-end services
• Working on sponsored and featured product placements
• Writing high-quality, well-tested, maintainable code
• Debugging complex issues across the stack
• Collaborating with experienced senior engineers

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years' experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong React experience, including Micro Frontends
• Solid Java & Spring background
• Full-stack capability with a front-end focus
• Experience with AWS (S3, DynamoDB)
• Working knowledge of GraphQL
• Strong engineering fundamentals and attention to quality

Please note: This is a 6 month contract, hybrid working (must be able to commit to 2/3 times a month in the Manchester office), paying £500-600pd inside IR35.
