System Engineer

We’re hiring: Systems Engineer – Audio Research

📍 Cambridge, UK | 💰 £37/hr | 11-month contract

Join a leading tech company and work hands-on with audio systems, motion capture, and prototype devices. If you love Python, Linux, networking, and solving complex engineering challenges, this is your chance to make an impact!

What you’ll do:

• Configure & test prototype devices and audio equipment 🎛️
• Manage device networks & onsite infrastructure 🌐
• Lead multimodal data collection in lab environments 🧪
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues & guide volunteers 🛠️

You'll bring:

• 2+ years with integrated hardware, firmware & software systems
• Python, scripting, Linux & networking experience
• Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
• Passion for audio & digital data 🎶

Bonus: Motion tracking, large-scale data collection, Android/command-line experience
