Technical Project Manager - IPv4/Core IPCentral London - Hybrid 2 days in office | £500-540pd inside IR35
A major UK telecommunications provider is looking for a strategic Data Value Creation Technical Project Manager to drive a major network transformation initiative. Reporting into senior executive leadership, you will oversee the strategic delivery of core IP addressing initiatives while providing portfolio-level governance across concurrent projects within the Data Value Creation portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Delivery: Lead national network infrastructure deployments focusing on Dual Stack IPv4/IPv6 transition and CGNAT / DS-Lite architectures.
- IPv4 Monetisation: Oversee projects designed to maximize value and optimise IP address assets.
- Portfolio Governance: Provide senior portfolio-level reporting directly to the Director of Data Value Creation across active initiatives.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner seamlessly across Core Engineering, Cybersecurity, Legal, Commercial Finance and Governance teams.
- Compliance & Controls: Manage audit submissions, compliance tracking, risk mitigation and security control validations.
Key Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience in Telecoms Technical Project or Programme Management within regulated carrier environments.
- Hands-on familiarity with Dual Stack (IPv4/IPv6), CGNAT (Carrier-Grade NAT) and DS-Lite network architectures.
- Strong financial skills with proven ability to interpret financial models, business cases and commercial results.
- SAFe or Agile certification is essential.
- Experience managing large-scale network infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with telecoms security frameworks and national network deployments.
