Transformation Delivery Manager - Operating Model

Transformation Delivery Manager - Operating Model Implementation

Are you a transformation professional with a track record of shaping enterprise-wide operating models?

We are seeking a Transformation Delivery Manager to play a pivotal role in driving a multi-year, large-scale enterprise transformation programme for a leading regulated utility infrastructure organisation. You will lead cross-functional change initiatives spanning people, process and technology, initially focusing heavily on activity analysis and embedding the enterprise Target Operating Model.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work at the heart of strategic delivery, partnering with executive stakeholders and external delivery partners to turn strategic goals into measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of the enterprise TOM, underpinning core decisions with activity analysis projects.
  • Plan and execute transformation workstreams across tech, process and organisational change; managing stage-gate reviews, risks and dependencies.
  • Partner with cross-functional business leaders to drive adoption, build readiness plans, execute change impact assessments and address resistance to ensure sustainable adoption.
  • Drive business case development, track benefits realisation against KPIs and ensure tangible value delivery across key milestones.
  • Act as a key bridge between the Transformation Office, C-suite stakeholders and third-party consulting partners in a multi-supplier environment.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Background in management consulting, advisory or similar fast-paced transformation environments is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record supporting large-scale business and technology transformation programmes, ideally within a regulated or complex infrastructure setting.
  • Deep knowledge of Target Operating Model (TOM) implementation, process re-engineering, activity analysis and technology change.
  • Practical grounding in project delivery frameworks (PRINCE2, MSP, AgilePM or Prosci).
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate matrixed environments, collaborate with external consultants and influence C-suite leadership.
  • A proactive, resilient mindset with a natural ability to simplify complexity.

If you thrive in high-impact environments, enjoy solving complex organisational puzzles and want to help shape the future of critical UK infrastructure, we'd love to hear from you.
