We are seeking a passionate, creative, and results-driven Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) Manager to join our clients Customer Marketing Team in Birmingham. Key Responsibilities:
- Web Analytics Management: Take ownership of the web analytics platform, including Google Tag Manager, ensuring accurate tagging, tracking, and reporting across all digital channels.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with key business stakeholders, including Divisional Brand Planners, Digital Production teams, Brand Marketing, Paid Media Manager, and Digital Transformation teams, to enable effective CRO testing and implementation of successful initiatives.
- Insights & Reporting: Proactively analyse customer behaviour and share insights, promoting a test-and-learn culture and championing the value of CRO across the organisation.
- Testing Strategy: Design and manage A/B or multivariate tests, overseeing an experimentation roadmap focused on improving website conversion rates.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance metrics, demonstrating the impact of optimisation initiatives and providing actionable recommendations for landing pages and website call-to-action (CTA) improvements.
- Project Management: Lead CRO tests and associated tasks, coordinating with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and successful execution.
Qualifications and experience
- Proven expertise in using web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, including tag implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of digital performance measurement and customer behaviour analysis, with familiarity in Conversion Rate Optimisation concepts and best practices such as A/B testing and heatmapping.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present data findings clearly and engage effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong numerical and analytical acumen, with an ability to derive insights from data and convert them into actionable strategies.
- Enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude, comfortable influencing others and working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn new digital skills, tools, and methodologies to stay ahead in the industry.
- A degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
