I have partnered with a well established and rapidly evolving consumer focused organisation that is investing heavily in digital transformation and technology innovation. As part of this journey, they are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Technology) to join a growing Digital & Technology Transformation function.

This role sits at the heart of Product and Engineering, translating business and product requirements into clear, actionable deliverables that enable the successful development of digital products, platforms and customer experiences.

The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping scalable digital solutions, working across mobile applications, internal platforms, integrations, APIs and data-driven products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules and process flows.
  • Lead backlog refinement sessions with Product Managers and Engineering teams.
  • Analyse and document business processes, customer journeys, system integrations, APIs and data flows.
  • Identify technical dependencies, risks, impacts and gaps before development commences.
  • Define and document data requirements, ownership and quality standards.
  • Support product prioritisation and technical decision-making through analysis and insight.
  • Ensure requirements and documentation remain clear, consistent and reusable.
  • Support testing activities and investigate system defects and production issues.
  • Collaborate with local and international stakeholders to deliver business and technology solutions.

About You

  • Experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or Product Owner within an Agile environment.
  • A strong track record of converting product requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Solid understanding of systems architecture, integrations, APIs and data flows.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON and tools such as Postman.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, investigation and validation.
  • Experience mapping business processes and assessing downstream impacts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to influence and challenge constructively.
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence.
  • A highly organised, detail-oriented approach combined with a broader product and customer focus.
  • Digital consumer platforms, membership or subscription-based businesses.
  • Retail, wellness, leisure or multi-site environments.

This is a permanent role paying between £70,000 - £85,000 depending on experience. There is a requirement of three days a week in the office based in central London.
