SD-WAN Project Manager - specific experience of Fortinet SD-WAN

Inside IR35 - Pay £500 per day - through an umbrella

Start 1st of November (essential) - six-month contract initially - travel to Stevenage (in Hertfordshire) as required

Must be British or have ILR status.Key Responsibilities:* Managing an end-to-end Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) deployment and integration project.* Working within the IT Governance framework, managing vendors and change requests.* You'll take the lead in creating and maintaining clear project and communication plans.* Be a stickler for keeping schedules, risks, actions, issues and dependencies updated within the project tool, KeyedIn.* You'll manage expectations around project delivery, and if any deadlines are at risk, escalate concerns as early as possible to allow time for corrective action.* You'll keep stakeholders informed, including the maintaining and sharing of weekly project highlight reports to keep everyone in the loop.* You'll be required to manage project budgets, tracking them responsibly and providing regular transparent updates.* Also, you'll collaborate closely with everyone involved to agree on, coordinate, schedule project activities effectively and if required travel to sites.Skills and Experience: * Extensive experience managing complex network and infrastructure projects, potentially across multiple concurrent projects.* Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, with specific experience of Fortinet SD-WAN.* Provision of reporting and metrics which demonstrate effective governance and control which meet customer/business requirements.* Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels.* Strong communication skills with a proven ability to understand key concepts and communicate effectively with technical staff, business stakeholders and senior management.* Risk/Issue Management and ensuring escalation processes in place and used effectively.* Experience of financial accounting and reporting practices. such as costs and risks.* Thorough understanding of the project management process throughout the lifecycle, and the ability to identify issues and take corrective action.* Degree or equivalent, professional qualification advantageous (such as PRINCE2/AgilePM).
