Programme Manager Location: London (Hybrid)Contract: Permanent | Full-time Salary: £68000 - £71000 The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Programme Manager to join a busy transformation team within a leading professional services organisation. This role is ideal for a programme management professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering complex change initiatives. You will play a key role in coordinating and overseeing a diverse portfolio of transformation projects that support the firm's strategic objectives, working closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions.The Role Working with senior stakeholders, project teams and third-party suppliers, you will be responsible for managing programme delivery, ensuring projects remain on track, risks are identified and mitigated, and key business outcomes are achieved. You will provide oversight across multiple workstreams, supporting Project Managers and helping to embed effective programme governance, methodologies and best practice across the organisation. Key responsibilities include: • Managing the successful delivery of a portfolio of transformation projects and change initiatives • Coordinating programme activities across multiple business functions and regions • Developing, maintaining and monitoring programme plans, milestones and deliverables • Working closely with Project Managers to ensure alignment across workstreams and dependencies • Identifying, managing and mitigating programme risks, issues and challenges • Escalating key risks and ensuring appropriate mitigation plans are implemented • Supporting resource planning and allocation across projects and programmes • Contributing to programme governance, reporting and stakeholder communications • Driving the adoption of programme management methodologies and best practice • Supporting the design and implementation of new ways of working and operational models • Ensuring projects deliver value for money and support strategic business objectives • Managing competing priorities and ensuring delivery against challenging deadlines • Building strong relationships across the organisation to support successful change delivery • Facilitating stakeholder engagement, influencing decision-making and driving consensus where requirements may conflict • Preparing clear documentation, reports and presentations for senior leadership and programme boards Essential: • Demonstrable experience managing programmes and large-scale transformation initiatives • Strong programme and project management skills with experience overseeing multiple workstreams simultaneously • Proactive, solutions-focused and adaptable approach • Experience identifying and managing programme risks and resolving complex issues • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills • Strong documentation, reporting and governance experience • Experience using both Agile and Waterfall programme management methodologies Desirable: • Experience working within a professional services environment • Experience delivering both business transformation and technology-focused programmes • Formal programme management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent • Experience implementing operational change and business improvement initiatives Morgan Spencer – Your Career, Our Expertise Morgan Spencer is one of London's leading Executive Secretarial and Business Support recruitment consultancies, connecting high-calibre professionals with outstanding opportunities.Equal Opportunities Morgan Spencer is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and welcomes applications from all suitably qualified candidates.Confidentiality & GDPR All applications are handled in strict confidence and in full compliance with UK GDPR.
