Regional Business Development Manager – Technology Remote / Field Based role £50,000-£60,000 + uncapped OTE Are you a results-driven sales professional with experience in Connectivity, IT Networks, Cloud Solutions, Telecoms, or Software? If so, we want to hear from you.As a Regional Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the hospitality industry across the UK. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is confident working in a field-based role with the ability to manage your time effectively, hit targets, and work independently from home.Key Responsibilities:
  • Win New Business: Develop and execute a strategic approach to win new clients in the hospitality sector through cold calling, networking, attending trade fairs, and leveraging industry news.
  • Consultative Sales: Identify and understand client needs in the areas of networking, connectivity, telecoms, Wi-Fi, IT, and software. Deliver tailored technology solutions that meet customer requirements while being aligned with Micron's capabilities.
  • Build Strong Pipeline: Create and maintain a robust sales pipeline, focusing on generating recurring revenue through new business sales.
  • CRM Management: Keep accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring efficient sales tracking and communication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Director to develop a target list, refine the sales strategy, and meet/exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven Sales Success: You have a successful track record in selling technology solutions, with demonstrable experience in at least two of the following areas: Connectivity, IT Networks, Cloud Services, Telecoms, or Software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience selling into the hospitality sector and familiarity with the technology needs of hotels and hotel groups is a plus.
  • Strong Networker: You have a knack for building relationships and nurturing business contacts, from cold outreach to senior stakeholder engagement.
  • Self-Starter: You thrive in a field-based role with the ability to manage your time effectively, hit targets, and work independently from home.
  • Technical Acumen: A solid understanding of data networks, converged platforms, and cloud technologies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and negotiate effectively.
  • Problem Solver: A consultative approach to sales with excellent listening skills and the ability to propose tailored, feasible solutions for clients.
Qualifications:
  • A valid driving license (field-based role).
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain a solid pipeline of opportunities with a high conversion rate into sales.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, managing time and priorities effectively
