More about the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Manager - Customer Data & Analytics to join our Customer Squad in Hilmore House. In this role, you will work closely with the Loyalty, Customer Insight and Data Science teams. You will lead a team of analysts to unlock the power of Morrisons' customer data, including our More Card loyalty data and till transactions. This is a hands-on role focusing on customer analytics, segmentation, and marketing performance, including improving our understanding of scheme members and the value exchange with the programme. You will help to guide the strategy of our loyalty scheme, recommend improvements to loyalty mechanics and offers, and inform the development of the proposition. You will also lead the team in providing campaign audience selection and planning for loyalty.
You, and the team you lead, will be responsible for providing regular reporting as well as ad-hoc analysis in order to support tactical and strategic decision making across the business, with a particular focus on marketing and commercial departments. You'll be responsible for building dashboards, analysing behavioural trends, and delivering structured campaign reviews and optimisation processes.
Alongside this, you will play a pivotal role, working closely with our Data Science team, in the evolution, production, and implementation of customer segmentations. You will be expected to lead, coach, and develop a team of around six customer insight analysts, helping them grow their skills and focus on work that adds the most value.
The role suits an experienced analyst who's confident with SQL, data visualisation tools like Tableau, and who can bridge the gap between data and non-technical stakeholders. You will also be expected to regularly use our customer data platform, MoreViu, and build stakeholders' confidence in their use of the platform.
