Data Business Analyst - Transformation & Data

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Business Analyst to join a global investment firm's transformation team, supporting large-scale organisational and technology change. The role will focus on data-driven transformation projects, including data warehouse initiatives, reporting solutions, and process optimisation. This position also offers a clear path to progress into a Project Manager role for those keen to develop their delivery leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and document business and data requirements, process flows, and reporting needs.
• Support delivery across strategy, business change, systems development, and implementation.
• Build and maintain data models, source data maps, and transformation rules.
• Work closely with technical teams to align business needs with solution design.
• Engage stakeholders across all levels to ensure successful adoption of change.

Experience Required:

• Proven background in data-focused projects using tools such as Power BI, SQL, Azure Data Bricks, or Informatica.
• Experience working with Workday or similar enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, or Dynamics).
• Experience within financial services, ideally private equity or fund management.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, modelling, and reporting.
