Project Manager - Open Banking v4, Oracle Flexcube, Core Banking, Technology, OBAPI, APIs, Banking, Delivery, Stakeholder Management - Financial Services - up to £675/day to Umbrella Company - Hybrid (4 days a week in office) - 6 months initial

My client, a Private Bank based in London, are looking for a Project Manager to join their London based team on a contract basis. This is a hybrid role, but you will be required in the office 4 days per week in Liverpool Street.

This is an urgent Project Management requirement needed onboard to support 2 initiatives they have ongoing:

  • Oracle Flexcube upgrade project
  • Open Banking Upgrade to v4

These are business critical projects with deliveries beginning in November of this year and running throughout 2027. You will be required to manage both technology, business and vendor teams across the organisation in a matrix manner, ensuring deliveries are tracking on time and stakeholders are engaged throughout.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Proven Project Management experience in the Financial Services Industry
  • Open Banking experience, OBAPI preferred
  • Has Core Banking experience, Oracle Flexcube preferred
  • Proven experience managing multiple matrix-managed teams to build out a delivery plan, coordinate activities, and ensure the teams are tracking to plan.
  • Ability to run working groups and gain buy in from both business and technical teams
  • Excellent senior stakeholder engagement experience, in terms of concise written updates or discussing key updates/escalations to obtain decisions.
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to provide quality updates to PM governance documentation (status reports, RAID, plans
