D365 Developer
D365 Developer – Permanent Opportunity - Private Markets
My client, a leading global private markets investment firm, is looking to hire a CRM Software Engineer within their Technology team. The role will report into the Head of Technology and work closely with Investment, Operations, and Engineering teams to enhance and develop the firm’s Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform applications.
This is a permanent, hands-on engineering role based in central London with hybrid working (3 days per week in the office).
The D365 Developer will be expected to:
- Design, develop, and enhance Dynamics 365 CE and Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Build and support integrations with Azure services including Azure Functions, Service Bus, Synapse, and Application Insights.
- Investigate and resolve complex software issues and implement robust, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Support planning, estimation, and Agile delivery across multiple initiatives.
- Act as a senior member of the development team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior engineers without formal line management responsibilities.
The successful D365 Developer will possess:
- 6–12 years of Dynamics 365 / CRM development experience, including earlier versions (2015+) and CE/Power Platform.
- Strong experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Solid Azure integration knowledge, including DevOps, Functions, Service Bus, Synapse, and App Insights.
- Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and relational databases (SQL Server).
- Experience delivering in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Experience operating as a senior engineer within a small team, providing technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues.
- Financial services experience is desirable but not essential; candidates from consultancy or software engineering backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing technology team at a leading private markets firm, with responsibility for shaping the CRM platform, driving technical excellence, and having a direct impact on investor and operational workflows.
