Are you a passionate Full Stack JavaScript Developer looking for the next step in your career? We're looking for a developer with around 1.5–3 years' commercial experience who enjoys building modern web applications and wants the opportunity to take ownership of projects while continuing to develop their skills.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team where you'll work across the full development lifecycle, delivering high-quality web applications using modern JavaScript technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop and enhance full-stack web applications using Node.js and React .
- Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces with HTML5 , CSS3 , and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Design and consume RESTful APIs and contribute to backend development.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB , SQL Server , or similar.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services.
- Collaborate with the wider development team using Git and modern development practices.
- Ensure applications follow security best practices, including authentication and secure handling of user data.
- Take ownership of features from design through to deployment, helping deliver robust and scalable solutions.
What We're Looking For
- Around 1.5–3 years' commercial experience in software development.
- Strong JavaScript (ES6+) skills.
- Experience with Node.js and React .
- Understanding of full-stack application development.
- Experience working with databases.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Experience using Git for version control.
Nice to Have
- Experience deploying web applications.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Knowledge of Docker , NGINX , Apache , PM2 , or similar technologies.
- Understanding of application configuration across development, testing, and production environments.
- Experience with the LAMP stack.
- Awareness of application performance optimisation.
The Ideal Candidate
You'll already be comfortable delivering features independently and have experience across both frontend and backend development, even if you have a preference for one. Most importantly, you'll be eager to learn, take ownership, and grow into leading the development of entire applications or portals within your first six months.
