Business Manager (Sales & Marketing Recruitment)

At Morson Edge, we're continuing to invest in the growth of our Corporate Functions division and are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Principal Consultant or Business Manager to establish and lead our specialist Sales & Marketing recruitment offering across Technology, SaaS, FinTech, and Financial Services markets.

As a result, there is significant opportunity to leverage existing customer relationships, PSL agreements, Managed Service (MPS) programmes, and RPO partnerships, whilst driving new business growth and establishing your own market presence.

The Opportunity

This is a standalone role with significant scope and autonomy.

You'll take ownership of developing a specialist Sales & Marketing recruitment practice focused on Technology, SaaS, FinTech, and Financial Services customers, with a particular emphasis on revenue generation, market development, and strategic client acquisition.

While business development will be a key focus, you'll also have access to an established portfolio of customers across the wider Morson Group, creating opportunities to maximise existing relationships, cross-sell services, and expand strategic accounts.

As the practice grows, you'll have the opportunity to build and develop your own team, creating a long-term leadership pathway within the business.

Operating as a senior member within the Corporate Functions team, you'll work closely with the Senior Recruitment Manager, helping shape strategy, support team development, and contribute to the continued growth of the wider division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a growth strategy for Sales & Marketing recruitment across Technology, SaaS, FinTech, and Financial Services markets
  • Generate new business opportunities and build long-term strategic client partnerships
  • Maximise opportunities within existing Morson Edge and wider Group customer accounts
  • Deliver consultative, solution-led recruitment services across Sales, Marketing, Digital, Ecommerce, Brand, Communications, and Commercial disciplines
  • Build and maintain high-quality candidate networks within specialist talent markets
  • Drive revenue growth and exceed agreed performance targets
  • Identify opportunities for market expansion, service diversification, and team growth
  • Act as a senior figure within the Corporate Functions team, supporting business initiatives and contributing to divisional success
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop future team members as the practice grows

About You

  • Proven success within Sales, Marketing, Commercial or Tech recruitment
  • Strong business development capability with a track record of winning and growing client accounts
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to build and lead a specialist recruitment offering
  • Strong commercial awareness and consistent billing performance
  • Comfortable operating autonomously whilst collaborating with a wider leadership team
  • Motivated by the opportunity to influence strategy, drive growth, and build a team
  • Ready to step into a senior role with genuine progression potential
