The Role
As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and plans using industry-standard software. You will play a key role in translating field data, sketches, and technical specifications into detailed 2D and 3D designs.

The Role
As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and plans using industry-standard software. You will play a key role in translating field data, sketches, and technical specifications into detailed 2D and 3D designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software (eg, AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
- Interpret field sketches, specifications, and technical data into precise designs
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
- Maintain organised records of drawings and project documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project deadlines
- Conduct quality checks to identify and resolve design errors
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Revit
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret engineering or architectural drawings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience within construction, manufacturing, or civil engineering sectors
- Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modelling) tools
- Basic knowledge of materials, construction, or manufacturing processes
- Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure
