Enterprise Account Executive – Public Sector
Location: Fully Remote (UK-based)
Salary: Up to £70,000 basic + bonus + benefits - Up to £350,000 OTE

You will be joining a business that works closely with leading cloud and technology partners to deliver end-to-end transformation across cloud, data, applications, and managed services.
The Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will take ownership of a defined portfolio within the public sector, combining new business generation with strategic account growth.
You will be responsible for the full sales lifecycle, from identifying opportunities through to closing complex deals and ensuring a seamless transition into delivery teams.
This is a high-impact role where you will work closely with technical specialists, customer success teams, and strategic partners to drive meaningful outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify and develop new enterprise and public sector opportunities through self-generated activity, referrals, campaigns, and partner engagement
- Build pipeline through proactive outreach and market engagement
- Work closely with marketing and alliance partners to generate qualified opportunities
Full Sales Cycle Ownership
- Manage complex sales cycles from initial engagement through to close
- Lead solution-led conversations alongside technical and presales specialists
- Develop and execute winning commercial strategies for both new and existing customers
Account Growth
- Manage and grow a defined set of enterprise and mid-market accounts
- Identify opportunities to expand product and service adoption across accounts
- Develop structured engagement and growth plans for each customer
Customer & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a senior point of contact for key stakeholders
- Ensure strong alignment between customer outcomes, delivery teams, and commercial objectives
- Support governance activities including QBRs, service reviews, and steering groups
Partner Collaboration
- Work closely with major technology partners to shape joint go-to-market activity
- Leverage partner ecosystems to drive pipeline and solution adoption
About You
You are a high-performing enterprise sales professional who thrives in complex, consultative environments. You are motivated by winning new business, growing accounts, and delivering measurable customer impact.
You will likely bring:
- Proven success in enterprise or mid-market B2B sales with consistent overachievement against quota
- Strong experience selling cloud, SaaS, managed services, or complex technology solutions
- Background in solution-led sales environments with exposure to structured methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, TAS or similar)
- Demonstrable experience working with large organisations and navigating complex stakeholder environments
- Strong new business development capability alongside account growth experience
- Confidence working in a fast-moving, high-energy environment with multiple priorities
- Experience working with Microsoft-led ecosystems is highly advantageous
