Location: Christchurch, Dorset (Fully Onsite)
Contract: 12 Months Initially
Rate: £60.33 per hour (Umbrella)

Security Requirements

• Active DV clearance is highly desirable.
• Active SC clearance will also be considered, provided you're eligible and willing to undergo DV clearance.
• Sole British nationality is essential due to UK Eyes Only (UKEO) programme restrictions.

We are supporting a major defence programme and are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join an established engineering team delivering secure Windows-based platforms within a highly secure environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on integrating, configuring and deploying physical and virtual infrastructure, supporting the delivery of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure Windows Server and Windows 11 environments.
• Integrate and configure COTS and bespoke software solutions.
• Produce technical documentation, including build guides and implementation documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within integrated production environments.
• Support system integration, testing, deployment and customer acceptance activities.
• Configure and deploy physical and virtual infrastructure.
• Support occasional customer site deployments and investigations.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience with Windows Server.
• Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience integrating Windows-based infrastructure and software.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Experience producing technical documentation.
• Ability to work effectively within collaborative engineering teams.

• Red Hat Linux
• SCCM / SCOM
• SharePoint administration
• Automated testing
• Experience working with COTS and bespoke software

Previous experience delivering secure solutions within defence, government or other highly regulated environments would be highly advantageous.
