Integration Engineer
Location: Christchurch, Dorset (Fully Onsite)
Contract: 12 Months Initially
Rate: £60.33 per hour (Umbrella)
- Active DV clearance is highly desirable.
- Active SC clearance will also be considered, provided you're eligible and willing to undergo DV clearance.
- Sole British nationality is essential due to UK Eyes Only (UKEO) programme restrictions.
We are supporting a major defence programme and are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to join an established engineering team delivering secure Windows-based platforms within a highly secure environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on integrating, configuring and deploying physical and virtual infrastructure, supporting the delivery of mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities- Build and configure Windows Server and Windows 11 environments.
- Integrate and configure COTS and bespoke software solutions.
- Produce technical documentation, including build guides and implementation documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within integrated production environments.
- Support system integration, testing, deployment and customer acceptance activities.
- Configure and deploy physical and virtual infrastructure.
- Support occasional customer site deployments and investigations.
- Strong experience with Windows Server.
- Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
- PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Experience integrating Windows-based infrastructure and software.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Experience producing technical documentation.
- Ability to work effectively within collaborative engineering teams.
