Management Information Analyst

MI Analyst - 12 month FTC - Lloyd's Insurer - £55-60k

3 days per week in the office

The main purpose of this role is to assist with the continued development of Management Information reports and use of data across the business. There is strong appetite from Senior Management for positive change, and the real possibility for the MI team to make a material and valuable impact.

This role will be a key support to the MI & Performance Manager, and will be responsible for designing MI production for Internal and external regulatory reporting purposes. The role will have a broad scope covering all business classes.

Core Deliverables

• Develop forward looking / analytical underwriting MI including multi-platform open market and delegated authority busin
• Deliver timely and accurate management information to various audiences including Westfield Specialty Committees and Boa
• Provide ad-hoc in-depth analysis for the management team, delivering new insights into business performance and improvem

Data Strategy and Technological Enablement

• Lead with the enhancement of existing MI reports and the development of new reporting capabilities and dashboards
• Identify and overcome data deficiencies and gaps in analytical capabilities.

Experience

• Demonstrable strong experience of querying relational databases with SQL.
• Microsoft Excel – VLOOKUP, SUMIFs at a minimum
• Microsoft Power BI report developing experience (or similar tool such as Tableau Qlik)
• Knowledge of Power Query
• [Essential] A-level in Mathematics or other numeric-based subject
• [Essential] Minimum 3 years in an MI-type role using SQL[Preferred]
• Experience of the London Insurance Market.
