Senior Technical Project Manager (6-Month Contract)

Contract: 6 Months
Location: West Sussex 2-3 days onsite
Day Rate: Competitive

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver a portfolio of business and technology projects across the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to delivery and benefits realisation.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and third-party suppliers, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to agreed governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent technical and business projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources and timelines.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change control.
• Ensure effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Lead cross-functional and supplier teams to successful delivery.
• Provide regular project reporting and executive updates.
• Support supplier selection, tender evaluations and contract awards.
• Ensure smooth service transition and operational handover.

Essential Experience

• Proven track record delivering medium to large-scale technical projects.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier management experience.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong project governance, planning and budget management skills.
• Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, PMI, MSP or similar methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience delivering across infrastructure and enterprise environments, including Networks, Servers, SQL, Windows and Linux.
• Understanding of ITIL practices and service transition.
