Location: Frimley – remote-first with ad hoc on-site visits
Rate: £678.26 per day (Umbrella)
IR35: Inside IR35
Duration: Initial 3 months, strong likelihood of extension

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Fiori DevOps Engineer to join a product-led DevOps team delivering a large-scale SAP and digital finance transformation programme.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end role where you’ll design, build, enhance and support SAP Fiori / UI5 applications and associated ABAP and OData services, working in an Agile/DevOps environment. You’ll be involved across the full lifecycle — from requirement refinement and technical design through to delivery, support, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing SAP Fiori / SAP UI5 applications

• Building and enhancing ABAP backend logic and OData services

• Supporting and improving live SAP systems, reducing incidents and technical debt

• Collaborating closely with product owners, architects and business stakeholders

• Contributing to DevOps practices, code quality, and delivery standards

• Working in a Scrum / Kanban delivery model within a self-organising team

What We’re Looking For

• Strong SAP ABAP (OOP) development experience

• Hands-on SAP Fiori & SAP UI5 development

• Solid experience with OData services and SAP Gateway

• Good understanding of SAP integration and end-to-end ERP landscapes

• Experience working in Agile / DevOps teams

• Comfortable owning work from build through to support
