Senior Consultant - Organisational Design focus

Start: ASAP / Immediate
Duration: Until end of March 2026
Daily Rate: £450 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Manchester, Hybrid (1 - 2 days per fortnight)
Project: Strategic data transformation project

We are supporting a major strategic data transformation programme within a central government department. The Strategy Team requires a Senior Consultant - Organisational Design to lead organisational analysis and support wider change activities.

This is an urgent requirement, with an immediate start preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct organisational analysis, including "as-is" assessments to illustrate service delivery maturity
- Map change requirements and identify associated benefits
- Develop design recommendations and sequence change activity
- Support the Communications Lead by contributing to messaging and strategic/tactical comms
- Shape future programme deliverables and help identify additional required roles
- Act as a key point of contact for client engagement
- Work closely with the senior strategy team
- Take initiative and help drive new approaches within a developing environment

Requirements & Key Skills:
- Strong business analysis and process mapping capability
- Solid understanding of organisational design principles
- Experience delivering change management in digital or transformation environments
- Excellent communication and planning skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement capability
- Good understanding of digital and data environments
