Senior Full Stack Engineer - Java/Angular

I'm looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a growing product-focused technology organisation, working on high-scale applications within a modern AWS cloud environment.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys getting stuck into complex technical challenges, but who can also lead from the front - influencing technical direction, supporting other engineers and taking ownership of delivering high-quality products.

The Role

You'll work across the full technology stack, developing and evolving highly scalable applications used within a large-scale cloud environment.

You'll be involved in everything from designing and building new functionality through to improving existing services, solving complex technical problems and helping shape engineering standards and practices.

We're looking for someone who is comfortable being a technical leader without necessarily needing a formal management title - someone who can set the standard, make sound technical decisions and bring others with them.

Key Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with Java development
• Strong TypeScript experience
• Excellent Angular development experience
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and distributed systems
• Significant experience working with AWS
• Experience developing within large-scale cloud environments
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices
• Experience designing and building scalable, resilient applications
• Comfortable working across both Front End and Back End development
• Able to take technical ownership and drive projects forward
• Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other engineers
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions
