- EA2 project Initial contract until 31st Jan 2027 with renewal in line with the project London or Glasgow/hybrid style working Inside IR35, Umbrella and PAYE working available Flexibility to travel frequently in UK and overseas Working Pattern Full-time (5 days/ week) Key Responsibilities Support the Project Quality Manager in planning, implementation and maintenance of the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) activities within the T&I package. Plan, implement and maintain the Quality Assurance (QA) activities within the T&I package. Implement the EA2 QMS and Employer Requirements (ER) into the specific package ways of working and package management documentation. Lead and coordinate different sites' quality teams, liaise with the T&I quality specialists assigned to the package, coordinate and carry out external and internal audit activities, coordinate inspections and report on project performance. The T&I Quality Manager will provide support and guidance to the sites' quality teams as well as practical advice and support to the project/package team to ensure consistent methodology is being applied and understood by the package team and Contractor as well. Key Tasks Provide the necessary support to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) regarding quality issues Ensure implementation of the PQMS within the package
- identification, preparation, distribution and maintenance of project/package quality documentation in accordance with the PQMS Ensure standard quality specifications are present and distributed to all relevant parties to ensure all legal/regulatory requirements are met Ensure that the correct implementation of the PQMS is monitored through planning and conducting of internal quality audits Conduct/coordinate external audits Participate in package management meetings to ensure coordination between quality activities and package management activities Prepare reports as necessary Ensure document control processes are followed within the package as well as by contractors in order to maintain documents/records traceability Ensure that the quality documentation and quality reports/records are produced, verified and reviewed by competent personnel Ensure quality requirements are incorporated in the contractual documents with contractors Ensure the quality of deliverables, materials, products and services across all phases of the package (qualifying a contractor, design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and handover) Key Criteria Essential: Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control for onshore / offshore wind projects, preferably specific to T&I Engineering degree qualified or equivalent technical qualifications / experience. 5-8 years of experience managing quality, preferably within T&I related packages Quality auditing certification Strong knowledge in NDT, qualification in welding and coating is a plus Experience in managing international and remote teams Flexibility to travel frequently in UK and overseas. Flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the job. Flexibility to work offshore if required. Preferred: Technical experience in electrical, mechanical or civil construction works. Quality Auditing certification required. Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy. Provision of quality management support and coaching. Proven experience in managing teams. Experience as a proactive team member. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence at various levels of an organisation. Proven experience of implementing or working to an inspection regime for the production of goods / equipment.
