Role Overview

My client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data, AI and Advanced Analytics Team. Reporting to the Principal Data Analyst, this is a senior role responsible for bridging business requirements with technical data solutions. The role involves working closely with business users, subject matter experts, project managers, technical teams, and end users to deliver high-quality data analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
* Assist in forecasting and predictive modeling to support strategic planning.
* Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and data queries.
* Understand and document complex business processes across multiple enterprise applications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to drive clarity and effective collaboration.

Qualifications & Experience

Professional

* 10+ years of experience in Data Analysis, with a focus on delivering analytics solutions.
* Strong ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and lead interdisciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and data storytelling skills with strong executive presence.

Technical

* Strong knowledge of Business Intelligence concepts such as data warehouses, data platforms, reporting, and dashboards.
* Expertise with Microsoft Azure data and AI tools including Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Server, Azure Analysis Services, Power BI, and Azure Data Lake.
* Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
* Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
* Significant experience in data conversions, master data management, and defining/testing/troubleshooting integrations between JD Edwards EnterpriseOne/Oracle EBS and third-party systems.
* Competency in project planning and delivery.

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Finance, or equivalent education/experience.
* 10+ years of experience working with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP or Oracle EBS, particularly in finance, capital asset management, or procurement modules.

Additional Experience

* Prior experience capturing business requirements for complex data platform/BI solutions.
* Active involvement in delivering BI-related solutions for real-world applications.
