π§ Deskside & Technology Support Analyst (Contract) β Manchester π§
π Location: Manchester (on-site, 5 days/week)
π Duration: 6 months (ASAP start)
π· Rate: Β£35/hour (Inside IR35, on payroll)
π‘ Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance
My client is seeking a highly motivated Deskside & Technology Support Analyst to join their team in Manchester. This is a site-based temporary role supporting end-users and managing 2nd line technical support within a fast-paced, professional environment.
What youβll do:
β’ Manage and resolve all 2nd line incidents and requests in line with SLAs
β’ Troubleshoot desktop computing and telephony issues
β’ Deploy, track, and maintain IT hardware and assets
β’ Provide regular updates to users and escalate issues as needed
β’ Set up new sites or projects in the local region
β’ Maintain equipment rooms and conference facilities
β’ Act as an escalation point and support other team members
β’ Use ServiceNow for stock and ticket management
β’ Support the Desk Side Team Lead and provide holiday/absence cover
What weβre looking for:
β Minimum 4 years' experience in corporate IT support
β Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
β Experience exceeding Service Level Agreements
β Technical understanding of desktop infrastructure and services
β Working knowledge of Excel and data analysis
β Valid UK driving license (travel required across other offices)
Nice to have:
β Microsoft Certification
β ITIL V3/4 Foundation
β Experience with ServiceNow
β Prior customer service experience
