Dynamics Developer

MS Dynamics Developer – Permanent – Hybrid (London)

My client is a leading global investment organisation seeking an experienced MS Dynamics Developer to join a growing Technology & Security function.

The organisation operates across emerging markets, delivering high-impact investments in infrastructure and development projects. Technology is central to this mission, and the business is continuing to expand its Dynamics and Power Platform capability to support complex, data-driven decision-making.

This role sits within the Business Applications team, focused on Dynamics and Power Platform development. You will play a key role in delivering a major programme of work, including the build of a bespoke Climate Research Tool used to assess risk in infrastructure investments globally.

The MS Dynamics Developer is expected to:

  • Design and develop custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics and the Power Platform (beyond configuration).
  • Contribute to the end-to-end delivery of a bespoke research and risk assessment tool built in Dynamics.
  • Write, review, and validate code written in C#, ensuring alignment with development standards and governance.
  • Work across both project delivery and BAU, including backlog ownership and triage support.
  • Collaborate with onshore and offshore resources to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure best practices in security, governance, and platform architecture are followed.
  • Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft technologies across Dynamics, Power Platform, and AI.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

The successful MS Dynamics Developer will possess:

  • 5+ years’ experience in software development, with strong exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
  • A solid development background in C# .Net, with the ability to understand legacy code.
  • Experience delivering custom Dynamics solutions (not just configuration/customisation).
  • Understanding of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.)
  • Experience working in project-driven environments, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong understanding of security and governance best practices within Microsoft ecosystems.
  • A proactive mindset with a clear appetite to learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team.
