Integration Business Analyst
Integration Business Analyst (INSIDE IR35)
Duration: 6 months (initial)
Location: Manchester (Hybrid 2-3 days per week on site)
Join our key client in shaping the future of digital infrastructure. We’re looking for an accomplished and driven Business Analyst to contribute to strategic technology initiatives that are central to the client’s vision of building intelligent, connected environments.
About the Role
You will support the ongoing development of a newly launched Event and Integration Platform - a critical solution designed to modernise how systems interact across a large-scale, multi-site enterprise.
With a significant number of existing integrations being migrated from MuleSoft, and a growing pipeline of projects with fresh integration demands, this is a critical and high-impact position.
You need to confidently be able to demonstrate experience working in teams that engineer solutions in-house, including preparing user stories at a level of detail suitable for development and testing, and actively supporting all relevant ceremonies as requirements progress through the software delivery lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Create clear, concise user stories and acceptance criteria using BDD practices
- Produce detailed business process maps using BPMN standards
- Elicit and translate complex requirements from diverse stakeholders
- Lead and facilitate workshops and refinement sessions with confidence
- Operate within Agile SCRUM frameworks and ceremonies
- Engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Work dynamically across different initiatives, engaging the right people at the right time
What You’ll Need
- Solid experience as a Business Analyst within complex technical environments
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and delivery models
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and / or JIRA, and Confluence
- Ability to work across multiple concurrent products and teams
Desirable
- Exposure to MuleSoft (especially around API migration), though not essential
- Familiarity with cloud-based integration platforms such as AWS is advantageous
Additional Information
- Role is primarily hybrid, with 2–3 days onsite expected each week
- Occasional travel to other UK sites may be required, but will be infrequent
- This role sits within a cross-functional integration team supporting a wide range of products and projects, not a single fixed programme
