We have an opportunity with one of the UK's biggest Retailers for a Senior Transition Programme Manager to lead transition of services from one partner to another.

The Senior Transition Programme Manager focuses on the coordination of onboarding the new suppliers and systems, while ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
This role We will require someone who has proven experience of producing transition plans for complex and large high profile contracts from a service perspective. Also if you have worked across both Public and private sector will be adventurous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transition Planning and Execution:
o Develop and manage a Transition Plan aligned with programme milestones and operational readiness.
o Coordinate onboarding activities (infrastructure setup, data migration, access provisioning).
- Supplier Coordination:
o Act as the central point of contact between internal stakeholders and new suppliers.
o Ensure alignment of service levels, responsibilities, and capabilities with business needs.
- Change and Communications Management:
o Ensure stakeholders are informed and prepared for operational changes.
o Support business readiness through clear communication, training, and user engagement.
- Operational Readiness Assurance:
o Ensure that the new supplier(s) and system are capable of delivering services from Day 1.
o Oversee service acceptance testing and go-live rehearsals.
- Service Integration and Handover:
o Ensure the new service integrates with existing processes and internal teams.
o Oversee handover into BAU (business as usual), including documentation and performance baselining.
