Data Analyst

Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday to Friday) Hybrid working with 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home Department: Technology and Change Reporting to: Lead BI Developer

About the role You will support us in identifying customer profiles and segments, calling on our wealth of first party data to help us really understand customer groups. Understanding these groups and their behaviours across our channels will help us develop and nurture these customers through the process of applying for a mortgage.

You’ll also help create a framework that enables us to track users from initial click to conversion and beyond. Your clear presentations, created from millions of data points, will help provide us with clear actionable insights and enable us to demonstrate the ROI of digital campaigns and activities.

You will play an integral role in the success of our digital marketing strategy and be part of the story in everything that we do. Ultimately, you will help us ensure that we spend our marketing budget effectively, target our audiences in the right way and connect the dots between marketing activity and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use data to bring to life customer behaviour and profiles

  • Build and enact a segmentation model

  • Use these behaviours and segments to inform better ways to nurture and convert our prospect

  • Track and report on website behaviour from first click to conversion

  • Implement an attribution model to support better understanding of digital activity

  • Build reports and data visualisations that support co-workers in their decision making

  • Work closely with business area stakeholders, e.g. Head of Digital Marketing and Marketing Director to build business cases for further investment

  • Analyse sales funnels and provide insights to CRO and content teams

  • Measure ROI of campaigns and help shape future activity

  • Help identify new additional positive marketing opportunities

About You

  • A passion for using data to solve problems, improve performance and increase revenue.

  • Experience using SQL and Power BI

  • Broad awareness of Digital Marketing activities

  • The ability to present complex data in understandable and actionable ways

  • A willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities

  • Good communication and relationship building skills, with the ability to manage an independent workload

  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment, working towards tight deadlines

  • • A desire to learn and grow

  • Experience or knowledge of Google Analytics, especially GA4, would be desirable

  • Knowledge of MAB platforms and the Mortgage industry would be desirable
